WALNUT CREEK, CALIF. — Amerit Fleet Solutions, one of the nation’s largest Disabled-Veteran Owned Businesses, is proud to be a sponsor of the 51st Annual United Service Organizations (USO) Armed Services Gala and Gold Medal Dinner to be held on December 13, 2012 in New York City.
As a continued effort to support military veterans and their families, Amerit Fleet’s contributions will help USO honor and celebrate our nation’s heroes by providing recreational, educational and support activities, and entertainment, including the night’s Gala, to our service men and women.
“We are honored to be a part of recognizing and commemorating the sacrifices our military heroes have made in protecting and honoring our country,” said Gary Herbold, CEO of Amerit Fleet and a Viet Nam Service-Disabled Veteran. “It is with great pride that we are able to help pay tribute to these brave men and women at the USO Armed Services Gala.”
The event will include USO’s Distinguished Service Award to Joseph M. DePinto, President and CEO of 7-Eleven, Inc., Jeffery R. Gural, Chairman of Newark Grubb Knight Frank, and Admiral Jonathan W. Greenert, Chief of Naval Operations.
In addition, the USO will present its George Van Cleave Military Leadership Award to one service member from each branch of the military for their outstanding commitment, dedication and sacrifices for our country.
The USO is a nonprofit organization supporting our troops since 1941, providing morale and welfare services to men and women of the U.S. armed forces and their families.
